MOVIES

Educational films is a well-known trend that is currently re-framed in the context of life-long learning strategies. The community of Laboratory for Studies of Visual culture and Contemporary Art is particularly interested in directing and producing educational films and movies that center around complex concepts of cultural studies explained in a simple and visually appealing way that make them interesting and understandable for a wider audience outside Academy.

This series of videominiatures were produced through 2005-2006 for the Belarusian TV channel LAD. The first miniseries - "The Culture of Consumption" – was devoted to the concept and phenomenon of consumption and produced by Andrei Gornykh.
